ANNA C. CHILDS, PH.D. ASTRONOMY

 

Anna Childs is a postdoctoral scholar at the Center for Interdisciplinary Exploration and Research in Astrophysics (CIERA) at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.  Her research interests include the formation, dynamical evolution, and habitability of terrestrial exoplanets and stellar evolution.  She recieved her PH.D. in astronomy, M.S. in physics and B.S. in mathematics from UNLV and has taught mathematics at the College of Southern Nevada, and physics and astronomy at UNLV.  She has conducted astronomy research at NASA Ames and NASA Goddard, and physical chemistry research at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
